Trip to Blackpool
Morning
In the morning, mum and dad were fighting because dad thought that mum had brought along too much stuff.
We ate bread and chocolate spread in the morning, and mum prepared chocolate spread sandwiches.
We left the house just past six.
Journey There
The journey there was around two and a half hours and, somewhere around Stoke-on-Trent, I got yelled at and cried. Half way there we had to stop at a changing point in Sandbach and mum and dad went to the toilet and me and mum swapped seats.
It was past eight in the morning when we got there. I woke up just as we were approaching the entrance to the car park. It had weird automatic shutters, so dad missed it the first time around, and we had to go around again.
The Car Park
When we drove up to the electronic toll-gate, dad posted a button and got a yellow coin shaped chip.
Vijay didn't want to deal with dad, so he pretended to be busy sorting the bags and tried to hand me the charging cable. I didn't take it, so mum decided to. But, as it turned out, the charging point in the car park was cash only, so dad and Vijay had to go and get some. I looked at CR for a sec while we waited.
When they came back, Vijay had a chocolate bar in his pocket, which he flashed at me.
Blackpool Tower
We left the car park and headed to the beach area. We saw something that looked like a massive black dart, which we wanted to get a closer look at. But dad wanted to get some money out, and there was a sign nearby that said “free cash”.
When I saw that, I actually thought for a second that it gave you cash for free, but what it meant of course was “free cash withdrawal”. But the machine that it was stuck on wasn’t working properly, and we could take out any money.
Me mum and Vijay went in the direction of the beach and dad went to look at Blackpool tower.
While we were waiting for dad, we saw a seagull. Near some bins, and approached, but we didn’t get too close because Vijay chickened out.
When dad came back, he asked us whether we wanted to go to the top of the tower, but Vijay and I thought it would be a waste of money. We went over to the promenade and mum and dad sat down. Vijay and I carried on walking and explored some vents (I had initially thought it was abstract art, like the darts and large rocks).
Chocolate Spread Sandwiches
When we got back, we ate the chocolate spread sandwiches with mum and dad. Vijay and I didn't really like it.
When we finished the sandwiches, Vijay took the plastic containers that we used as wrappers to a far bin because he didn't want the seagull in the nearby on the taste of the chocolate spread sandwiches.

Fair Ground
We had just exited the cheap looking rip off fairgrounds, with that big wheel.
Prices:
£1.10 for 1 ticket
£20 for 25 tickets
£40 for 60 tickets
I didn't want to go on the rides and Vijay said they are expensive.
Dad asked me why I didn’t want to go to on any of the rides and I said I was too old, so dad asked me what I did want, and I said food.
I asked Vijay what kind of food he wanted and, after a bit of provoking, he said that whenever he was hungry, he would always think of chicken nuggets. So we decided that we should get chicken nuggets.
Before we went to KFC, we sat on next to the water. Mum and dad noticed that the water had raised drastically from just moments before. We sat there for a bit and took some photos and I took a video.

Walk to KFC
While Vijay was taking us to KFC, he crossed the road while the person was red. He said that it was because he heard dad, who was behind us at the time, say something. At the next crossing I lent on the block with the button on the traffic lights and said, “You don’t normally listen to dad, what made you suddenly change your mind?”. Mum seemed to find this funny.

At KFC, we got a box with four chickens and chips with gravely. Three of them were spicy.
Just before Vijay and dad arrived with the food, mum said that she heard that one of her friends daughters was applying to Oxford at fifteen. She was doing a lot of charity work to make herself stand out. I don’t think that it will have much benefit, but it’s her life.
Mum suggested that we have ice cream. Dad got some with chocolate sauce on. There was quite a lot of ice cream, and it didn’t taste too bad.
Journey Home
After that, we went back home.

Additional stuff:
At some time in the morning, we went to a MacDonalds that was behind some construction work in the car park, led by Vijay. He had noticed that dad was using the car route.
We got three coffees, and one hot chocolate, which was for me.
